Hey Readers,

I tried so hard but still, I had this 2-day gap, 17th was Friday and I took it a bit lightly, went out with my family for dinner, and enjoyed the family time.

I agree that we should be light with ourselves and some relaxation can be given here and there, but you start with a little relaxation and then soon it becomes a habit, so I will try this does not become my habit.

My weekend was very well spent, worked for some hours due to the hard deadline that we are following for a project, went out for a family outing, went out with my better half(fiancé), enjoyed a Punjabi movie.

This is my kind of weekend, I am not a party person and I enjoy the company of people who really matter to me.

Today, the day started with buying some winter clothes for the upcoming family trip we have planned.

I enjoyed my Saturday and planned to work on an office project on Sunday, but we all know things don’t happen to work as we expect most of the time, there are always some standard deviations.

Hence, We should live in the moment and cherish the present we are living in

I got a call from the QA team regarding a regression bug in one of the features we deployed today.

Ideally, this should have been reported before going live but when there is any situation like this we should first focus on, how to resolve rather than playing the blame game.

I spent some time looking into the RCA of the issue and finally found the bug.

In a matter of an hour, I was able to write the code fixes and move it fix to QA for deployment again.

This one cycle of bug fixes took around 3–4 hours and I was free again by 4.

I rested for some time and then sat again for the project and worked for 2–3 hours where I was able to fix one flow which was an achievement and my Weekend’s target.

With the blink of an eye, the weekend is gone and now from tomorrow, my focus is on the gym in the morning rather than evening and badminton in the night. and work in between.

I hope you enjoy reading the blog everyday.

Thanks for reading and do connect with me on LinkedIn and YouTube.
